· The Civil Rights Forum on Communications Policy works to bring civil rights organizations and community groups into the debate over the future of our media environment.
· Charles Wm. Leighton, Jr. Hospice is a new hospice in Willcox, Arizona, operating with a team of 22 caregivers to provide palliative (comfort) care to the terminally ill and dying. Operating under the motto, "When curing isn't possible, caring is", the Hospice serves a very rural area in southeastern Arizona.
· CODEPINK is a women's peace organization committed to a world without war. I supported their efforts to engage the press, particularly during the Gaza Freedom March.
· The Independent Television Service (ITVS) is unique in American broadcasting. Mandated by Congress in 1988 to foster the development of public television programming that involves creative risks and addresses the needs of underserved audiences, ITVS has taken the lead in advocating for independent, non-commercial programming and in the development of the public interest in the digital television realm.
· NAATA, the National Asian American Telecommunications Association is a national funder, presenter, and distributor of Asian American media, and is funded in part by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
· Women's Funding Network is a partnership of women's funds, donors, and allies around the world committed to social justice. WFN works to ensure that women's funds are recognized as the "investment of choice" for people who value the full participation of women and girls as a key to strong, equitable, and sustainable communities and societies.
· Working Films links independent film to social action and community education. Working Films campaigns use film, video, and the Internet to shift public opinion and policy; and range from high profile national efforts to regional and local grassroots initiatives.
· WorldlinkTV is a direct broadcast satellite (DBS) channel, and a partnership between Internews and ITVS.
